Opis kierunku

The program has been designed in response to the needs of modern financial markets and the broader economic environment. It combines academic knowledge with practical experience. Classes are delivered by both academic staff and market practitioners, and the curriculum reflects international analytical standards, including the scope of the CFA Level I Program.

DURATION: 3 years (6 semesters)

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

During the program, students develop analytical and practical skills applicable both in finance and in other areas of economic activity, in particular:

  • analyse financial markets and investment opportunities
  • assess the financial condition of companies and interpret financial statements
  • apply corporate finance tools, including taxation and investment decision-making
  • use quantitative methods, statistics and elements of econometrics in data analysis
  • forecast economic trends and support decision-making processes
  • gain knowledge of portfolio management principles, valuation methods and investment strategies
  • acquire knowledge of derivatives, alternative investments and risk management

The program also develops broader financial competencies, including macroeconomic conditions, behavioural aspects of decision-making, and legal, corporate governance, and ethical frameworks.

Students gain experience in working on real-world financial problems and develop practical competencies through:

  • case studies and data analysis
  • teamwork and project-based assignments
  • preparing and presenting analytical results
  • internships in financial institutions and companies
  • participation in academic clubs
  • international exchange opportunities (Erasmus+)

JOB PROSPECTS

Graduates are prepared for entry-level analytical roles in financial institutions and corporate environments. The Program develops analytical, quantitative and communication skills that enable graduates to build careers both in Poland and in international environments, as well as to continue their education and professional development.

Graduates may find employment in:

  • corporate finance departments, including large listed companies
  • investment funds and capital market institutions
  • banks and financial institutions
  • audit, advisory and valuation firms
  • organisations involved in financial market monitoring and supervision

in positions such as:

  • financial analyst (in corporate environments or financial institutions)
  • controlling or FP&A specialist
  • corporate finance specialist
  • credit analyst or risk specialist
  • financial auditor or valuation specialist
  • investor relations or financial communication specialist

Additional entrance exam* checking the knowledge to undertake studies (scope of the exam: mathematics – at a level comparable to the Polish Matura exam (basic level)). Failing the exam results in disqualification from the recruitment proces. Exam will be conducted online.

*Applies to non-EU citizens holding foreign high school diploma, except holders of:

  • IB (International Baccalaureate)
  • EB (European Baccalaureate)
  • high school diplomas issued within the education system of one of EU, EEA or OECD member states
  • high school diplomas recognized on the basis of bilateral agreements on mutual high school diploma recognition with Poland

Acceptance limit: 25 students

Point threshold in 2025/2026: 90,85 points

The treshold  may vary from year to year, depending on the candidates’ results.
